VRAI OU FAUX?
The book documents the installations of the 'salons' True or False? created by Véronique Bourgoin between 2010 and 2013, based on photographs of living rooms from the artist's collection and the Nederlands Fotomuseum. The starting point is Véronique Bourgoin and Juli Susin's home/studio, where numerous encounters and collaborations took place over two decades. True or False? questions the place of the art object in daily life, as well as the idea of the 'Salon' as a 'phantom' space of exchanges in the face of contemporary acceleration of transformations of truth and falsehood, dominated by historical desires and introspection.
